June 16, Day 8: Le Jardin Botanique
The Botanical Garden belongs to the University of Strasbourg. We took the tram there; it wasn't far, but we wanted to have enough time there to have a good visit before it closed at 6 P.M. They have a nice arboretum with many trees from various continents, all clearly labeled although it was a bit frustrating that the names were not given in English, just French and German. And there is a tropical greenhouse where we encountered large specimens of our former houseplants!
